ValueWorks unveils Platform Version 1.30. This new update is about two new ways that ValueWorks is communicating with users outside of the platform and how to control what is important enough to be communicated. For those already working with ValueWorks, the KPI responsibility concept has been enhanced. Users will now see all assigned and outdated KPIs centrally in the KPI glossary and will get reminders via email at the frequency preferred (from once to daily to monthly, or not at all). Within ValueWorks, users can access KPIs directly from the dashboard. And for new colleagues joining the platform, ValueWorks has introduced onboarding emails. After their very first login, they’ll automatically receive a short guide with videos and tips on important features. Via the user management, Admins can even re-trigger this for existing users if a quick refresher is needed. ↗

Untap launches new waterfall calculator, to help users build valuation structures that reflect how their funds actually work. Untaps' waterfall calculator pulls in internal data such as EBITDA, applies market comparables, factors in net debt, preferred returns and ownership, and calculates NAV and MOIC. This new tool is fully configurable, so investment directors can input assumptions, apply discounts/premiums, and draft valuations ahead of committee meetings. Together, the companies will offer a comprehensive ESG-platform with tools to manage risk, compliance and climate challenges. Morescope will remain a standalone brand within Position Green, focused on carbon technology and accelerating product innovation, while gaining access to Position Green’s infrastructure and European customer network. Morescope’s investors will become shareholders in Position Green. ↗
Broadridge acquires Signal, expanding its digital capabilities and market experience in the UK and Europe. Signal provides a full suite of design, technology and consulting services that support omni-channel communications for financial services and other firms. This acquisition enhances Broadridge's ability to serve its global clients and extend its footprint in Europe. The transaction is not expected to have a material impact on Broadridge’s financial results. ↗
Salesforce signs definitive agreement to acquire Regrello, an AI-native solution that automates complex business processes. After the acquisition closes, Salesforce plans to integrate Regrello with Agentforce and Slack, helping customers enhance manual, inefficient activities into agentic automations that increase the velocity and quality of critical business processes. The acquisition is expected to close in Salesforce’s third fiscal quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. ↗

S&P Global and Maestro partner to deliver enhanced portfolio monitoring capabilities for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. This partnership includes a native integration of the Maestro platform with S&P Global’s iLEVEL portfolio monitoring system, enabling automated data entry and streamlined measurement of value creation initiatives. By combining iLEVEL’s financial data infrastructure with Maestro’s data and workflows, private equity firms can measure the impact of their value creation initiatives, identify the highest-yielding value levers and improve transparency between sponsors and portfolio management teams. This enables firms to directly attribute revenue growth, cost optimization and margin expansion to specific value creation activities, accelerating decision-making. This integration indexes up to 100 properties per object for metadata searching.
