NEW & UPDATED PRODUCTS

OneTrust has launched Prompt, a monthly newsletter to keep users updated on the latest in AI technology and regulations. The first newsletter for January 2024 is "An AI inventory: your first step towards compliance and control".

Nasdaq has updated its brand experience for Nasdaq eVestment, with its Brand Awareness Rankings. Nasdaq uses a metric based on both asset owner and consultant viewership in the Nasdaq eVestment database as a proxy for brand awareness at the combined firm and product levels. In this update Nasdaq shows the Top 20 firms ranked by their brand awareness scores across multiple categories – including changes in scores from the prior quarter, and provide the metrics involved in determining brand awareness scores. Allvue also highlights the importance of data population by including a list of highly viewed firms excluded from brand rankings due to failing to provide the basic metric of firm total AUM.

Grata has introduced Grata Go, which gives users access to company data directly from your phone. Grata Go can provide information about a company’s size, growth trajectory, recent funding rounds, and executive teams.

Nasdaq has unveiled the Nasdaq IPO Pulse Index, which offers insights into the future listings market and IPO activity. Nasdaq's Capital Access Platforms division launched this indicator to provide corporates and investors with an outlook for the direction of IPO activity with a high degree of predictability six months out.

CEPRES has announced a number of new updates for its Fund Screener solution. To start with, the CEPRES platform now allows for viewing and editing non-operating cashflows in the Cash Ledger Page. Additionally, a new dropdown has been added to the page at the top section, which is shown on the fly when selecting a dataroom. This new dropdown gives the user three options to view: operating cashflows, non-operating cashflows and mixed cashflows. Withdrawal and deposit have been added as two new types of non-operating cashflows at the fund and deal level. Users also have the ability to switch between views and navigate to view the amount, date, and summation per each cashflow type and are able to sort, filter, and search per each view. The new updates allows users to view the non-operating cashflows in the dataroom by specific, customized timelines, including the following: “Show Dates Only “ view, “Show Quarters Only “ view and “Show Quarters and Dates “ view. The different operating modes are available in all views: Users can view the operating and non-operating cashflows together per fund or deal in quarters or dates (or both). And finally, users are now able to edit fund and deal data while viewing them in the Cash Ledger page.

FINTRX has officially released its AI Search, powered by FINTRX. AI Search utilizes natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to deliver accurate and relevant search results, saving users valuable time while increasing productivity.

Fundwave has unveiled a new feature on its platform. Fundwave has made it easier to collect KPIs from portfolio companies. Now users can setup an automatic schedule for companies to submit KPIs on time.

DEAL ACTIVITY

Vidia Equity has announced the final close of the Vidia Climate Fund I, operated via Vestlane. The fund was oversubscribed and closed at €415m.

Alto has announced the launch of Vint’s Futures and Casks Fund I on the Alto Marketplace. The Vint Futures & Casks Fund is strategically designed for wine and spirit enthusiasts as well as any accredited investor looking to diversify their portfolio. Vint is a real-alternative asset manager that has expanded access to wine and spirits investing by securitizing collections within the sector.

PARTNERSHIPS & INTEGRATIONS

Carta has partnered with Merge to support 50+ HRIS. Carta is using Merge to power their integrations in Europe.

Toppan Merrill has announced a partnership with Nasdaq for CSRD and ESG reporting. This partnership will provide a purpose-built solution for businesses at all stages of the ESG journey, from hyper-granular data collection to cross-referenced metrics, and guidance notes.

Filament Syfter and S&P Global Market Intelligence have announced a new collaboration together. The goal of this partnership is to help private market users streamline their approach to building data analysis tools in-house, thereby enhancing their investment teams' ability to integrate, interrogate and enrich data. With the help of Filament Syfter, users can identify valuable insights and market signals.

CEPRES has announced a strategic partnership with LeadingMile Consulting to provide an Open Integration Layer. The Open Integration Layer is pre-configured to connect system data structures to those of CEPRES, letting users of third-party systems integrate CEPRES data into their current tech stack. This partnership will also allow CEPRES customers to integrate data from third party systems into CEPRES' Predictive Intelligence solution, a portfolio simulation and tracking solution.

Goji has announced its new partnership with Alchelyst, a full-service fund administrator based in Dublin. Alchelyst’s digital onboarding platform, enabled by Goji technology now includes: investor onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, investor notices & reporting and digitized documentation.

NEW CLIENTS

Addepar has announced that konvergent wealth partners has joined the Addepar family of clients. konvergent, a Washington-based wealth management firm, helps families and business owners advance their wealth, achieve clarity and purpose, and maximize impact.

SimCorp has announced that one of the largest central banks in the Asia Pacific region, has chosen SimCorp to provide a front-to-back implementation of its investment management platform. This partnership aims to modernize the central bank’s reserve management and monetary operations. By consolidating operations into a single platform, the central bank will gain a total portfolio view of all its assets across public and private markets, whether managed internally or externally.

HIRING & PERSONNEL

Alexander Caprio is the new Chief Accounting Officer at OneTrust. Most recently, Caprio was the Chief Accounting Officer at the SaaS company, Celonis.

Leonardo Interlandi has joined OneTrust as Vice President of Customer Success. Most recently, Interlandi was Director, Customer Success (US Leader for Financial Services and Professional Services) at Workday.

Charlotte Bradley is the new Vice President - Product at Ontra. Previously, Bradley was Vice President Product, Platform at AppFolio.

Josh Defreitas is the new Vice President | Investments at CAIS. Defreitas has been with CAIS since 2020.

Katie Hoag is the new Director, Accounting Operations at Tegus. Before joining Tegus, Hoag was a Controller at Mintel, a privately owned, global market research company.

Tegus has also opened its EMEA headquarters at the IDA Business & Technology Park in Waterford, Ireland. The new location will facilitate the expansion of global content and deeper datasets, allowing the company to better support local customers as well as the growing number of international users already on the platform.

Allvue Systems has announced several key appointments as the firm expands its customer experience function. Kevin Dunn has rejoined Allvue as Global Head of Customer Experience for the firm’s credit segment. Dunn has experience at tech startups and large organizations and spent more than 10 years with Black Mountain Systems (a predecessor of Allvue Systems). Pat McBrearty joined as Head of Partnerships. He has over 12 years of experience in B2B SaaS building and scaling GTM partnership functions. Prior to joining Allvue, he was the Vice President of Partnerships at Gainsight, a portfolio company of Vista Equity Partners. Michelle Wu joined as Head of Marketing and has over 15 years of experience in debt capital markets, fintech, and cybersecurity. Prior to joining Allvue, she was the Vice President of Product Marketing at SecurityScorecard.

CAIS has welcomed six new members to the CAIS Executive Council. Alex Cavalieri - Director, Head of Marketing. Chris Crawford - Managing Director, Operations & Risk Management. Brooke Jones - Managing Director, Platform Solutions & Operations. Kristin Magnier - Director, Advisor Services. Judah Schulman, CAIA - Director, Product Specialist. Christopher Zuczek - Chief Product Officer.

RepRisk has expanded its Board of Directors with two new members. Christoph Bieri and Marko Roeder have been appointed as members of the RepRisk Board of Directors. Bieri will reinforce the board with his experience in corporate finance and strategy development. Roeder will contribute with his experience in sales and marketing, international expansion, as well as team and culture development to the board.

Josh Burke has joined Canoe Intelligence as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Compensation. Burke was previously Head of Talent Acquisition at Appcues.

Additionally, Jordan-Ross Olloe is the new Business Development EMEA at Canoe Intelligence. Most recently, Olloe was Business Development, Alternatives at SS&C.

Standard Metrics has welcomed Brian Cloughley as its new Head of Customer Experience. Cloughley will oversee the entire journey for customers at Standard Metrics from implementation to customer success, support, managed data services, expansions, and renewals. Cloughley was previously at Affinity where he served as SVP of Customer Success and Revenue Expansion.

SimCorp has welcomed Surika Vosloo to the company as Group Product Manager in its product development division. Most recently, Vosloo was Head of Product Management at TS Imagine. In recent years, SimCorp has invested a large portion of its R&D capacity to enhance its Front Office capabilities.
