Valu8 has released its next generation group structure function, designed for visualizing top-level ownership in complex group situations. Key features include: hierarchy visualization, interactive features, aggregated ownership, data synchronization and subsidiary ownership insights.

Novata has launched the Novata Carbon Navigator, a new solution to simplify carbon data management and reporting. With the Carbon Navigator, users can: Quickly calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions directly in Novata’s platform. Streamline tracking company data, such as energy consumption, with built-in guidance and an intuitive user experience. Easily upload company expenses to calculate emissions from supply chains, business travel, and other activities. Share an investor-grade audit trail when reporting on emissions and meeting regulations. View benchmarks and analytics to understand performance. And lastly, safely operate in a secure-by-design, ISO-27001 and SOC 2 compliant platform.

EcoVadis has launched Ecovadis IQ Plus with Vitals. EcoVadis Vitals is a new questionnaire that builds on the IQ Plus platform. Together, IQ Plus with Vitals delivers a risk management solution that helps users address regulatory requirements. It includes an AI-powered document scan, collection, and review capability, advanced risk mapping, direct supplier input via Vitals questionnaire, and Live News Monitoring.

Microsoft has announced the introduction of Copilot Pro, a new premium subscription for users that provides a higher tier of service for AI capabilities, brings Copilot AI capabilities to Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers, and new capabilities, such as the ability to create Copilot GPTs. Microsoft has also announced the general availability of its Copilot app for iOS and Android phones. Finally, Microsoft is bringing Copilot for Microsoft 365 to more commercial customers by expanding the availability to businesses of all sizes, including small- and medium-sized businesses, starting immediately.

ValueWorks has announced a new DATEV upload feature on its platform. ValueWorks has updated its data integration process, distinguishing the setup phase from the actual data uploading. This update will enhance usability and will simplify the data integration experience for users.

Attio has unveiled a few new features on its platform this week. These features are: configurable record pages, ephemeral filtering, email read receipts and drill-down emails.

Dialllog.co has unveiled a new link sharing feature on its platform in order to boost team efficiency. Now users can share interactions with colleagues using its new 'Link' feature.

Altvia has a new feature whereby users can now automatically sync emails and calendar directly into Altvia's AIM CRM. This new product feature ensures: Secure and automatic email capture that is compatible with its AIM Interactions and Interaction References. The ability to bulk sync historical emails as Interactions. The flexibility to integrate with all email services and customize email syncing rules based on user, external contact, or email content. Automatic calendar syncing for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspaces. In-app contact creation and responsive customer support.

Tactyc has introduced Automated KPI Requests. Tactyc can now automatically send KPI requests to collect data from portfolio companies. Previously, Tactyc would generate a custom URL for the KPI request form that had to be manually emailed to company contacts.

DEAL ACTIVITY

The investing arm of the Economic Development Board of Singapore, EDBI, has made an undisclosed strategic investment into AlphaSense. The investment is part of the US$150 million Series E funding round announced in September 2023, and was led by Bond Capital with existing investors CapitalG and Goldman Sachs. The round valued AlphaSense at US$2.5 billion. This comes after AlphaSense announced Singapore as its APAC hub in July 2023. AlphaSense also announced the hiring of Mark Leadercramer as the APAC Regional Director. Before joining AlphaSense, Leadercramer was Head of Enterprise Sales at Stripe.

IQ-EQ has acquired Lymon. Lymon provides regulatory compliance and business services for institutions in Singapore. It will now be called Lymon, part of IQ-EQ.

PARTNERSHIPS & INTEGRATIONS

Tactyc has integrated with Crunchbase. With this integration users can: run market intelligence queries, import qualitative data for active investments (sector, geography, leadership, url, etc) and find funding history for comparable investments (round type, round size, valuation, revenue).

FINTRX has announced the newest addition to its native CRM data integrations, with Microsoft Dynamics 365. This integration offers a strategic advantage for clients and prospects, streamlining data management processes and providing comprehensive family office & RIA insights.

CLEVVA has announced a strategic alliance with SS&C Technologies. CLEVVA builds, deploys and manages Virtual Agents for regulated companies. CLEVVA is integrating with SS&C Blue Prism to fully automate customer service conversations.

Fuel Ventures has announced a strategic partnership with Visible. This partnership allows Visible to manage Fuel Ventures' portfolio data.

OneTrust is now an official Google Consent Management Platform partner. With OneTrust’s integration of Google Consent Mode, OneTrust facilitates important implementation steps for easier setup. After setting up Consent Mode through a customer's OneTrust account, they will be equipped to achieve insights into conversion data for advertising and analytics purposes while respecting user choice when using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Floodlight tags.

Morningstar and iCapital have announced a strategic relationship to expand financial advisor access to alternative investments and insights. This strategic relationship will provide Morningstar's Advisor Workstation users with access to both iCapital Marketplace and iCapital Architect.

Attio has updated its Zapier integration to offer wider coverage of Attio’s feature-set, alongside numerous small fixes and usability improvements. Zapier now supports all standard and custom objects, with new triggers, improved value writing, and more.

Knowledgenet.ai has announced its collaboration with Sales Xceleration to implement a certified sales operating and management system. Sales Xceleration is a business consulting firm that provides business owners with an experienced outsourced sales consultant to help with sales growth.

Affinity has partnered with Focal for Deploy. This platform is a hub for VC managers to get in front of over 100 vetted LPs.

Valu8 has announced a data partnership with Dun & Bradstreet for full coverage of private company data in an additional +30 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, in addition to Valu8’s own core private company data coverage in Western Europe. Dun & Bradstreet is a global provider of business decisioning data and analytics. Data from Dun & Bradstreet will be offered as an add-on, built into the Valu8 company analytics platform.

Finalis has announced a new partnership with Ontra. Finalis is a dealmaking platform for independent investment bankers, placement agents, and M&A advisors globally.

Position Green has announced a partnership with Sustainability Hub Norway, one of Norway's corporate sustainability networks. This partnership will bring users valuable knowledge on important topics within the ESG sphere.

Gen II Fund Services, an independent private capital fund administrator, has announced a new partnership with Canoe Intelligence. Through this strategic partnership, Gen II will leverage Canoe’s technology to automate the receipt, retrieval, and document management of communications from underlying funds. This partnership allows Gen II to extract and digitize essential data points from underlying investment notices to streamline the contribution, distribution, and valuation processes for fund-of-fund investments.

NEW CLIENTS

Law firm Advokatfirman Delphi has chosen Valu8 as one of their providers of private company data. Advokatfirman Delphi is a progressive business law firm based in Stockholm.

HIRING & PERSONNEL

AssetMetrix has announced that Emmeram von Braun has handed the CEO position to its Product and Technology Officer, Dimitris Matalliotakis. Von Braun has become the Chairmanship of its Advisory Board and will continue to be closely involved with the company.

Ontra has appointed Brian Korchin as its first Chief Revenue Officer to lead the company’s global revenue-generation strategy. As Chief Revenue Officer, Korchin will lead the continued growth of Ontra’s Legal Operating System, which automates critical fundraising, deal execution, and fund operations workflows for firms.

Randi Lynn Veenstra has been promoted to Vice President of Sales at Ontra. Veenstra has been with Ontra for 5 years and was previously Senior Managing Director, Sales.

Ontra has also announced a few new additions to the company. Josh Nulman is Principal Product Advisory Manager, Matthew Shore is Senior Director, Customer Successand Lindsey Neal is Community Manager, Legal Success.

Patrick Thomas has been hired as the Associate Director of Private Markets at SS&C Technologies. Most recently, Thomas was Vice President - Service Director at BNY Mellon.

Anaplan has appointed Jamie Garverick to the role of Managing Director of the Americas, reporting to Bill Schuh, the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. Garverick will lead Anaplan’s largest sales organization and will be tasked with helping the company scale its impact across North America and meet the critical planning needs of the businesses fueling the Americas.

Anaplan has also appointed Dan Koellhofer to the position of Senior Vice President of Applications for Sales Performance. Koellhofer joins Anaplan from ScaleGrid, where he served as Chief Product Officer for the multi-cloud DBaaS provider.

Randy Cairns has joined Hyperscience as its new Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications. Most recently, Cairns was Vice President Business and Product Communications at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

IDR has added to its Commercial Team with the appointment of Roxane Fricou as Commercial Director. Fricou has over 15 years of experience in sales and commercial roles, across the funds industry.

SimCorp has announced the appointment of Enzo Cotroneo as its new Country Manager for Australia. In this role, Cotroneo will primarily focus on business development and setting the strategic direction for SimCorp’s growth in Australia. Cotroneo joins SimCorp from a senior leadership position at HSBC.

RepRisk has a new Head of Commercial Operations, Christophe Huybrechts. As the leader of our Commercial Operations department, Huybrechts will focus on technology enhancements, process optimization, and client experience initiatives.

DOMOS FS has announce that Haythem Rouis has joined the company on the Research & Development Team as a Developer. Before joining DOMOS FS, Rouis was a Senior Software Engineer at Deveryware.
