Arch raises $52 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from Menlo Ventures, Craft Ventures, Quiet Capital and others. The funding will support Arch’s expansion and development, with a focus on meeting the needs of institutional investors, private wealth teams and family offices. ↗
Acuity Knowledge Partners acquires Ascent, a European AI and digital services business. This strategic move expands Acuity's Data and Technology Services division and its offering of technology and AI led services and solutions. This acquisition enhances Acuity’s capabilities and expands the firm’s global network of delivery locations. Additionally, Acuity will continue to build on Ascent’s alliance with Microsoft. The transaction is expected to close on September 30 2025. ↗
South Watch LLC is now IQ-EQ. Boston-based South Watch, a hedge fund admin firm, has officially rebranded as IQ-EQ. This relaunch, which has occurred four months after IQ-EQ's acquisition, enhances IQ-EQ's ability to provide fund administration, outsourced CFO support and tax preparation services across the US. ↗
Alphastream receives strategic investment from Intapp to enhance deal execution workflows. Along with the investment, Alphastream and Intapp are expanding their partnership which brings their technologies together to streamline funding and credit workflows using AI. Alphastream's AI-driven platform is available to mutual clients via an integration with Intapp DealCloud. Access to financial document intelligence within Intapp's deal and relationship management platform helps private credit investors make fast decisions across the entire credit lifecycle. Set to launch in beta by year-end 2025, this partnership will enhance how General Partners and Limited Partners in private markets contribute critical market intelligence. Leveraging the capabilities of S&P Global's iLEVEL portfolio monitoring platform, the solution will deliver aggregated, anonymized insights, including global fund performance monitoring, fundraising tracking and deal analytics. The collaboration creates a new way to classify private markets funds and investments that reflects how the industry operates today. Carta and Morgan Stanley expand partnership, bringing IPO support and wealth management to private companies. S&P Global and Novata extend partnership for joint Sustainability Data Management Solutions. S&P Global’s sustainability-focused business unit S&P Global Sustainable1 and Novata announced are expanding their collaboration, with Novata serving as Sustainable1’s technology partner to power sustainability data management solutions for clients. The expanded partnership will bring together Novata’s sustainability data management and carbon accounting tools, and S&P Global Sustainable1’s sustainability intelligence capabilities to provide companies with insights to manage climate risks, uncover opportunities, and build long-term resilience. Northern Trust appoints Jessica Donohue as Global Head of Product Management for Asset Servicing. In this role, Donohue leads strategy and oversight to ensure that Northern Trust Asset Servicing products and solutions provide meaningful value to clients and closely align with Northern Trust’s growth priorities. She reports directly to Asset Servicing President Teresa Parker. Donohue brings nearly 25 years of industry experience, most recently serving in senior leadership roles at State Street Bank and Trust Company, including as Global Head for the Asset Owner segment and as Head of Global Investment Insights, Sustainability and Impact. While at State Street she also held senior leadership roles in innovation, advisory and information solutions, and Head of Performance & Analytics for institutional and asset manager clients. ↗
Attio appoints Philip Beevers as Vice President of Engineering. Beevers joins Attio with over two decades of engineering leadership at technology companies. He most recently served as SVP of Engineering at Snyk, where he oversaw teams responsible for the company’s flagship products, powering the majority of its revenue. Prior to this, he was CTO at Evroc, helping to shape the strategy of Europe’s hyperscale cloud initiative. Earlier in his career, Beevers spent nine years at Google, rising to VP of Engineering and leading global teams of more than 1,000 engineers across Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Serverless, and Site Reliability Engineering. ↗
