Alkymi launches Alkymi Alts to enhance alternative investment data management. CAIS expands fund menu on platform. CAIS has expanded its alternative investment strategies from global asset managers, broadening access for advisors seeking to build diversified client portfolios. Over the last year, managers have introduced new strategies on the CAIS Marketplace, spanning private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure, delivered through structures such as interval funds, BDCs, and non-traded REITs. Novata releases new Benchmark Builder. Investors can now see how their portfolio companies perform against Novata Benchmarks, with customizable filters, visualizations, and exports. Users can now filter and sort by geography, sector, or FTE; add or remove columns, and view a performance summary. Additionally, users can customize and export charts to communicate performance. ↗
Addepar launches two new features on its platform. These new features are Return Decomposition and Portfolio Look-Through, which can help users validate investment strategies and get a view of total exposure. With Return Decomposition, users can quantify the impact of their allocation and selection decisions relative to their target strategy. Build a client narrative, pinpoint areas for refinement, and automate attribution calculations across Dashboards, Reporting, Analysis and the Client Portal. Portfolio Look-Through integrates fund data, eliminating manual data entry while helping users identify hidden risks like unintended concentrations or overlaps. The Contract Network releases Version 1.6.1 with two new capabilities: native Microsoft Word integration and a clinical research content library. Now, users can access TCN’s contract analysis directly in Microsoft Word. Review, redline, and negotiate agreements without switching platforms while maintaining full sync with TCN workspace. Features include: 1 Word-Embedded TCN Access - work inside Microsoft Word while staying connected to The Contract Network. 2 - One-Click AI Markups, 3 - Profile Guidance in Context, 4 - Sync Between Workspaces. The other new feature is TCN's Clinical Research Content Library, which was built from real-world clinical research negotiations and optimized for institutional priorities. Five profiles and eight agreement templates are now available for current TCN subscribers and users with an existing TCN guest account. These profiles and templates provide starting points that sponsors recognize, which help reduce negotiation cycles for all parties while protecting institutional interests. ↗

Carta acquires Accelex. This acquisition unlocks new analytics for LPs by transforming investment documents and fund data into AI-enabled insights into their alternative investments portfolio and performance. Along with this acquisition, Cara is launching its new LP Portfolio Analytics suite powered by Accelex. With this new solution, Carta will enable institutional LPs to automate document collection, scale data extraction, and accelerate portfolio analysis across their entire portfolio from multiple sources. TMX Group acquires Verity. The acquisition enhances TMX Datalinx's client offering and helps deliver global data, insights, and investment workflow tools across equities, fixed income, and private assets. PitchBook is partnering with three new firms to expand access to private market data. PitchBook is partnering with Farsight, Finster AI, and Model ML to integrate PitchBook’s private market data into these enterprise workflow tools. This will help clients boost productivity, streamline manual processes, and automate benchmarking using tools. This partnership will power the growth of Graphene’s offering for wealth managers, family offices, and independent financial advisers. Anaplan appoints Greg Randolph as President and Chief Revenue Officer. Additionally, Randolph now serves as a member of the executive committee, effective September 29, 2025. Randolph brings over 25 years of experience leading teams, for both public and private equity-owned companies. In his new role, he will be tasked with scaling a GTM organization that is focused on maximizing value for customers. Prior to Anaplan, Randolph led sales organizations at software companies. Most recently, he drove a successful GTM transformation as Chief Commercial Officer for e2open, a publicly traded global supply chain management software company. ↗
S&P Global updates Executive Leadership Team. Catherine Clay has been appointed CEO of S&P Dow Jones Indices, effective November 1, 2025. Clay will replace Dan Draper, who will remain as a Special Advisor for a period of time after November 1, 2025. Clay will also replace Draper on the S&P Dow Jones Indices Board. Clay joins from Cboe Global Markets where she was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Derivatives, responsible for leading the Exchange's global options and futures businesses as well as its Data Vantage business across the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. She brings prior experience across the derivatives markets, digital assets, data analytics and financial technology to S&P DJI. In addition to Draper's departure, Swamy Kocherlakota, Chief Digital Solutions Officer of S&P Global will also leave the company effective December 31, 2025. ↗
