Canoe Intelligence has launched Canoe Asset Data, a new solution for the industry-wide challenge of accessing and using complete, timely, and accurate asset-level data. Asset Data solves several investment use cases, including exposure analysis, portfolio analysis, and due diligence, while alleviating the operational challenges in accessing this data. Canoe addressed this challenge by collaborating with 13 clients to build Canoe Asset Data: a scalable, cost-effective solution that complements the company’s existing offerings.

Persefoni has launched Persefoni Pro, a completely free tier of its carbon accounting and management product. Now any business can measure and share its carbon emissions.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has launched its global Futures and Options SaaS platform, expanding its existing derivatives trading capabilities. Broadridge's new Saas platform is designed to transform order and execution management capabilities for sell-side institutions. The new platform enhances Broadridge’s existing capabilities, enabling the delivery of new functionalities for global institutions operating in the Futures & Options agency execution business, offering a distributed architecture that enables operations from any jurisdiction and benefitting from Broadridge’s broader multi-asset class trading and operations offering.

FactSet has released Transcript Assistant, a GenAI-powered, conversational chatbot that accelerates research and analysis of earnings call transcripts. Transcript Assistant leverages GenAI to help users search, analyze, and extract valuable, actionable insights from all transcripts in FactSet, ultimately enhancing the investment research process within the FactSet Workstation. Key features include: interactive chat assistant, search capabilities, view summaries and seamless integration.

Salesforce Pro Suite has launched as an all-in-one CRM solution for growing businesses. Pro Suite expands on the capabilities of Salesforce’s Starter Suite, which includes guided onboarding, reporting templates, pre-built dashboards, and built-in AI to help small businesses get the most out of their CRM from day one. Pro Suite helps businesses: increase lead generation, drive faster sales, answer customer questions quickly and extends the power of AI CRM through AppExchange.

Robin AI’s Contract Copilot, its AI legal assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude 3, has been upgraded. With the latest upgrades, Robin AI is providing legal pros with: stronger capabilities to analyse lengthy contracts and hundreds of pages of text, higher quality responses to complex queries and even more reliable answers and stronger information validation.

Bite Investments has introduced its latest product, which is a Private Markets Investment Glossary. Bite curated this glossary to teach industry terminology and concepts. Bite hopes that the Private Markets Investment Glossary will serve as a go-to reference tool to help simplify complex lingo in the industry.

WealthBlock has launched a new feature on its platform. When conducting a bulk upload of investor documents, you can now determine how the document should be matched to the investor. Users can choose between: Match by Account Number (which is the default), Match by Account Name and Match by Your Custom Identifier.

Flow has released a new feature on its platform, LP Communication Preferences. With this new feature, investment firms can now tailor communications sent on Flow to the unique needs of each LP team member, based on that individual’s specified preferences.

SS&C has unveiled its T+1 Readiness Scorecard. This tool enables clients to assess whether their post-trade settlement processes align with current market practices. The scorecard delivers insight into possible bottlenecks and post-trade areas clients may need to improve for T+1 compliance in May 2024.

Dialllog has launched customized filtering options on its platform. Users can now tailor filtering criteria according to business requirements because they are not limited to predefined filters.

Apliqo has released a new feature on its platform. The new feature allows for full MDX views and widgets on Apliqo's platform.

SimilarWeb has launched Search 3.0, an SEO dataset. Search 3.0 will help advance users keyword research and competitive analysis, allowing for more data-driven SEO strategies. With Search 3.0, SEO teams will get: last 28 days view, keywords and pages driving organic traffic to competitors, more long-tail keywords and combined device type. Additionally, four of Similarweb’s key features have been upgraded to the Search 3.0 dataset: Website Keywords, Landing Pages, Keyword Analysis and Keyword Generator. Search 3.0 is now live on SimilarWeb's platform for all account-managed customers.

AlternativeSoft has launched its AlternativeSoft Managed Services, which provides access to its solutions anytime, anywhere. AlternativeSoft Managed Services also provides: cost containment, flexibility and scalability, short time to production, 24x7 availability and a comprehensive suite.

Exchangelodge has announced that it has received an investment from Innovation Works. This strategic investment will fuel Exchangelodge’s continued growth trajectory, enabling the company to expand its offerings and accelerate its market penetration globally. With Innovation Works support, Exchangelodge will introduce advancements, expand its reach, and continue to support their clients’ management of data workflows.

PARTNERSHIPS & INTEGRATIONS

S&P Global Market Intelligence has announced its new partnership between ChartIQ and GoNoGo Charts. This collaboration represents an advancement in technical analysis and data visualization, as it integrates ChartIQ's capabilities with the tools of GoNoGo Charts. This alliance enhances ChartIQ's capabilities, offering client’s end-users a new solution for market analysis and decision-making.

SimCorp has announced a new five-year business partnership with Swedbank Robur, an asset manager in the Nordic region. Headquartered in Stockholm, Swedbank Robur has used the front-to-back capabilities of SimCorp’s investment management platform since 2001. Under this new partnership agreement, Swedbank Robur will now leverage SimCorp’s SaaS solution and transition to a cloud-based platform.

Atominvest has announced a new partnership with Greenly. With this integration, Greenly's carbon calculation platform is now accessible to Atominvest's clients' portfolio company users, enhancing GP's ability to meet stakeholders' expectations and progress to Net Zero.

Ledgex Systems elevates family office financial management with direct Plaid integration. By integrating directly with financial institutions via Plaid, Ledgex ensures real-time data accuracy, reduces manual entry errors, and improves decision-making efficiency. Key benefits for family offices include: streamlined portfolio management, unmatched security, simplified accounting processes and customizable reporting.

Figment Europe and Apex Group have launched two ETPs on SIX Swiss Exchange. Powering the issuance of the ETPs is Issuance.Swiss AG, a Swiss turn-key solution for financial product issuances provided by Apex Fund Services. This partnership combines Figment’s technological staking experience with Issuance.Swiss’s financial product issuance program, introducing an approach that brings institutional staking capabilities to the ETP vehicle.

S&P Global Market Intelligence will collaborate with DTCC to deliver a joint solution to support clients impacted by upcoming US T+1 settlement requirements. The organizations plan to link S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Onboarding Accelerator platform with DTCC’s ALERT to increase transparency, efficiency and straight-through processing in the institutional trading industry. By integrating the services, Onboarding Accelerator users will be able to query the status of critical standing settlement instructions reference data for a particular account and market directly within the S&P Global Market Intelligence platform. The SSI status query can be done at the point of account opening or at any time during the trade lifecycle, resulting in less trade breaks and settlement fails and increased efficiency in support of a T+1 settlement cycle. The SSI status information for trade permissions will be available via an ALERT API.

Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management has strengthened its partnership with SimCorp by increasing the number of portfolio managers with access to SimCorp’s investment management platform. Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management has been a client of SimCorp since 2007. Under this new agreement, Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management commits to a longer-term partnership with SimCorp and will benefit from the extended usage of SimCorp’s front-to-back platform. This includes connectivity to DTTC subsidiary Omegeo’s Central Trade Manager for matching and processing trades and the SWIFT financial network for settlement.

NEW CLIENTS

Allvue Systems has been selected by Permian Group to provide fund accounting and administration software that supports the company’s business operations. Permian is a Nordic fund administrator with offices located in Oslo and Stockholm. Allvue will deliver its Fund Accounting solution to handle the “purchase to pay” process. This will provide Permian with streamlined and efficient back-office workflows, risk mitigation capabilities, an investor reporting function, as well as the handling of calls and distributions to LPs. Permian will also benefit from improved data functions including automatic FX rate integration, which will enhance the efficiency and accuracy of their operations.

The City of Wichita, Kansas selected the V3locity platform of Vitech Systems Group to move pension administration to the cloud for the Police and Fire Retirement System as well as The Wichita Employees’ Retirement System. The two funds cover all 3,500 full time employees of the City of Wichita. Wichita Retirement Systems’ adoption of V3locity will provide cloud-native administration that enhances security and resiliency and brings digital transformation to the customer experience.

Matsui Securities has selected Broadridge's cloud based SaaS post-trade processing solution to drive operational efficiency in its stock lending business. Broadridge’s SaaS solution will allow Matsui Securities to process and settle all stock lending and borrowing transactions, manage the corresponding positions, compute required collateral, as well as automatically calculate fees and rebates and manufactured dividends.

NorthWall Capital, a London-based credit investment firm offering private capital solutions, has adopted the Sentry loan portfolio management solution from Broadridge Financial Solutions. By using Broadridge's solution, NorthWall plans to scale its credit business and streamline the management and operation of its private debt portfolio.

OFFICE & PERSONNEL

Floww has welcomed Umerah Akram as its Chief Operating Officer. Akram spent the last two years as Head of Private Markets at LSEG, where she was for 18 years in total. At Floww, Akram will work alongside the CEO, Martijn De Wever, with the goal of building a global, multi-sided private markets platform.

PE Cube has welcomed Antoine Ory-Lamballe as its new Late Founder & CTO. Ory-Lamballe brings over 12 years of experience as a tech leader, including 7 years as a business-oriented CTO.

Forge Global has appointed Larry Leibowitz to its Board of Directors, as well as its Compensation Committee. Leibowitz brings decades of entrepreneurial and corporate leadership experience in capital markets, financial technology and asset management, to Forge. He is currently the CEO of Entrypoint Capital, a quantitative investment management firm, and has also held executive and board positions at other companies in the financial services and investment sectors.

Jeanne Lee is the new Head of Sales, APAC at Novata. Before joining Novata, Lee was the Commercial director at monday.com.

Kroll has announced the appointment of Dave Burg as Global Head of Cyber Risk. In this role, Burg will oversee and expand Kroll’s Threat Lifecycle Management capabilities, including security advisory, validation and assessments, managed detection and response, threat intelligence, incident response, data analytics and breach notification. Burg brings over two decades of cybersecurity experience, most recently leading cybersecurity for EY Americas. In this role, Burg oversaw EY’s reactive and proactive consulting efforts involving the deployment of information technology solutions.

Gillian Nieboer is the new Head of Growth Marketing at Robin AI. Until recently, Nieboer was the Marketing Director at Appvia.

IQ-EQ appoints Romain Mifsud as Chief Commercial Officer for France and Switzerland. With 14 years’ experience in the private market industry, Mifsud specializes in private equity, real estate, private debt and securitization. Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Mifsud was Head of Sales and Relationship Managers at Société Générale Securities Services, Paris, where he was responsible for the development of a commercial strategy for French private markets and asset managers. He has also held other senior roles including Head of Fund Managers for Victoires Haussmann and Head of Real Estate Financing with Investimo.

Apex Group has appointed Mark Le Page as its new Head of Financial Crime in Guernsey. With more than 30 years’ experience across financial services, regulatory services and the accountancy profession, Le Page will join the board of Apex fund and Corporate Services (Guernsey) as well as leading the integration of the Financial Crime teams. Before joining Apex, Le Page was an Extended Assurance Director at EY.

Yusuf Elsehety is the new GenAI Technical Product Manager at AlphaSense. Before joining AlphaSense, Elsehety was the Senior Product Manager - AI Research & Development at Capital One where he spent over six years.

Carla Barlatay Alfieri is a new Senior Product Manager - Index and Benchmark Solutions at FactSet. Before joining FactSet, Alfieri was an Associate Principal, Market Data Services at Qontigo.

Michelle Cheng has joined MergerMarket's New York City office as an M&A reporter. Until recently, Cheng was a Reporter at Quartz, focusing on the AI industry.

Kirsty Swaine is the new Principal Talent Acquisition Specialist at IQ-EQ (Global). Swaine has been with IQ-EQ since 2022 and has held previous roles in recruiting.

Persefoni has announced that former Visa Chief Sustainability Officer Douglas Sabo has joined its Sustainability Advisory Board. From 2008-2024, Sabo served as a corporate sustainability and responsibility executive at Visa, including as the company's inaugural Chief Sustainability Officer. In his role on Persefoni's SAB, Sabo will strategically advise Persefoni's executive team with critical insights from within the corporation. He will also advise on how Persefoni's AI-driven carbon accounting platform can meet companies' needs today and over the long term.

Forge has announced that James Brooks recently joined Forge as Chief Product Officer and Commercial Officer. In this dual role, Brooks will be responsible for product vision and commercial strategy, overseeing the product, design and data organizations, and driving the acceleration and advancement of Forge’s business. Brooks will be based in Forge’s New York office. Before joining Forge, Brooks was the Chief Operating Officer, ICE Data Services at Intercontinental Exchange.

Michael Hargis is Ontra's new Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations. With Hargis' previous experience in Go-to-Market and RevOps, he will lead strategic and operational alignment across Ontra's GTM functions, and will oversee its RevOps, GTM Enablement, and BDR teams. Hargis was previously SVP, Head of Revenue Operations at Tealium

Eduardo Jardim is a new Sales Planning & Operations Specialist at 73 Strings. Before joining 73 Strings, Jardim was a Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Ops | Business Development at CERC.

Ashish Talreja is a new Business Intelligence Developer at Holland Mountain. Until recently, Talreja was a Technical Consultant at Revionics.
